Privacy Policy

When you create an account and play Vorlia, we collect:

• Account information: the email address and password you provide when registering. Passwords are stored in hashed form and are never visible to us in plain text.
• Character and gameplay data: your characters, progress, items, currency, guild membership, achievements, and other in-game activity, which we store to maintain your account and the persistent game world.
• Communications: text chat messages and voice chat are transmitted to enable real-time communication with other players. Text chat may be logged for moderation and safety purposes for up to 90 days. Voice chat is transmitted in real time through our provider and is not recorded by us.
• Technical and diagnostic data: we collect crash reports and diagnostic information (via Sentry) and basic gameplay analytics (such as session length and in-game events) to fix problems and improve the Game. This may include device information and your IP address.
• IP address: collected automatically when you connect to our servers, and used for operating the service, security, and abuse prevention.

We use your information to:

• operate your account and the game world;
• enable multiplayer features, chat, and voice communication;
• diagnose crashes and improve performance and gameplay;
• protect the Game and players against cheating, abuse, and fraud;
• enforce our terms of service and community rules.

Vorlia uses the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Sentry— crash and error reporting. See Sentry's privacy policy.
• Vivox / Unity — voice chat services. See their privacy policy.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers used to operate our servers.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers listed above as needed to operate the Game, or where required by law.

We retain your account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active. Text chat logs and diagnostic data are retained for up to 90 days unless required longer for safety or legal reasons. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us (see below).

Depending on your location (including under UK GDPR and EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@vorlia.online.

Vorlia is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under this age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, parents or guardians may contact us to have it removed.

You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by emailing privacy@vorlia.online. Include the email address associated with your account so we can verify the request. We will delete your account and associated personal data, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal or safety reasons.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted at this URL with an updated date.
